About Laurie Forster
Laurie Forster’s journey into the world of wine began in Manhattan, where she studied at the American Sommelier Association and earned her certificate in Viticulture and Vinification. She went on to publish her award-winning book, The Sipping Point: A Crash Course in Wine, and has since become a sought-after voice in wine education and entertainment.
Her approachable, no-nonsense style and quick wit have led to numerous television and radio appearances, including The Dr. Oz Show, FOX Morning News, and Martha Stewart Living Today. Laurie also hosts her own radio show, The Sipping Point.
And now, The Standup Sommelier™ is coming to Delaware! Heritage Shores, in partnership with Laurie Forster, proudly hosts this wine-focused stand-up comedy and tasting experience – where improv, games, and expertly paired wines deliver a show that’s as delicious as it is funny.
