Position Overview 

We are seeking a customer-focused, reliable Golf Shop Attendant to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with people, has a positive attitude, and thrives in a fast-paced, indoor-oriented environment. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Greet golfers and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit. 

• Handle tee time check-in and assist with course information. 

• Process sales for merchandise. 

• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming Golf Shop environment. 

• Restock inventory. 

• Answer phone inquiries and support day-to-day golf shop operations. 

• Collaborate with outside staff to ensure a smooth guest experience. 

Qualifications 

• Friendly, professional, and customer service oriented. 

• Strong communication and multitasking skills. 

• POS system knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

Cart Management

• Prepare, stage, and organize golf carts for daily play.
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain carts throughout the day.
• Ensure carts are fully charged or fueled and in safe working condition.

Guest Services

• Greet golfers warmly and assist with loading/unloading clubs.
• Provide course information, directions, and general assistance.

Range & Facility Upkeep

• Maintain the driving range: collect balls, refill baskets, clean stations.
• Keep cart barn, staging areas, and surrounding grounds clean and organized.
• Assist with light maintenance tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. and be on your feet for extended periods.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine lawn care tasks including mowing, trimming, and fertilizing.

• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various maintenance tasks.
• Assist in the irrigation of gardens and landscaped areas to ensure healthy plant growth.
• Conduct regular inspections of grounds to identify maintenance needs or potential issues.

• Requirements

• Assist in carrying food trays to tables.
• Remove soiled dishes from table and bring to dish washing area.
• Remove soiled linen from tables and replace with clean linen.
• Set tables with silverware, glassware and clean linen.
• Clean the floors in the dining room.
• Stock server’s station with supplies.
• Collect trash from dining room, grill and other specified places after each serving period.
• Dust chairs before and after meals.
• Keep ice bins and buckets filled.
• Periodically cleans and restocks restrooms.
• Attend pre-meal meetings as requested.
• Turn in signed tip declaration form weekly (where applicable)
• Perform other duties as appropriate.

• Set up service units and prep cook station with needed items. Maintain and break down as appropriate.

• Maintain security and safety in the kitchen according to Company policy.
• Maintain neat professional appearance and observes personal cleanliness rules and sanitation standards at all times.
• Requisition items needed to produce menu items.
• Cover, date and neatly store all leftover products that are re-usable.

• Provide immediate attention to all members/guests upon seating, greet warmly and distribute menus.
• If local water conservation laws permit, fill glasses with ice water while guests decide upon order; answer questions and suggest menu items.
• Take member/guest food and/or drink orders.
• Turn orders into kitchen; inform cooks about any special cooking instructions.
• Assemble food on tray; procure items from each station as necessary.
• Serve meal; place dishes by courses in front of each person; serve from left of the person.
• Check back to ensure member/guest satisfaction; replenish water and butter as necessary.
• Remove soiled dishes as guests finished.
• Suggest and serve dessert, coffee, and after dinner drinks.
• Verify accuracy of prices, state and federal taxes, tips and other charges on all checks and present bill to guests.
• Handle all cash and credit cards as applicable from guest/member charges as prescribed by standard operating procedures.
• Keep tables, dining room and bus station clean and tidy.
• Advises supervisor of any complaints as soon as they occur.
• Performs side work, clean-up and closing duties as assigned.
• Attend pre-meal meetings as requested.
• Turn in signed tip declaration form weekly (where applicable).
