Rob Anen, CCM
Robert H Anen, CCM is our General Manager at Heritage Shores. Rob is charged with managing all operational aspects of the Club including the clubhouse, Sugar Beet, banquet operations, food and beverage, golf course maintenance and golf operations. In addition, he works in concert with the HOA Management TEAM and ownership of the property to ensure continuity in experiences at Heritage Shores. This position is important at Heritage Shores to create consistent improvement and steadiness amongst the various departments and uphold the highest standards and expectations. Mr. Anen has over 20 years of Club Management experience and has served as the first General Manager/ Chief Operating Officer at Huntingdon Valley Country Club in Huntingdon Valley, PA and prior he was the General Manager at Brookside Country Club in Macungie, PA. His resume also includes his time as the Assistant General Manager of The Merion Cricket Club in Haverford, PA where he was responsible for day to day operations and member services for this exceptional “Main Line Club”. Rob is passionate about the member, resident and guest experiences and really enjoys exceeding the members and guests’ expectations. Rob focuses on building a strong team of professionals with the member experience as the focus. Mr. Anen is a past President of the Philadelphia and Vicinity Club Managers Association of America (PVCMA) and is currently on the Board of the Philadelphia Club Foundation. He is a graduate of Widener University with a Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management. He has a strong history in the private club industry with experience at Waynesborough Country Club, Coatesville Country Club, and Manasquan River Golf Club. He has been an active volunteer for golf tournaments including the U.S. Amateur at Merion Golf Club and the ATT Classic at Aronimink Golf Club as well as for charitable events such as Make a Wish and various others. Most recently he worked at the 2013 US Open at Merion Golf Club and “went back to school” as an adjunct professor and taught the “Club Management Class” at Northampton Community College in the Lehigh Valley. Currently Rob is on the Advisory Committee for Sussex Tech and on the Nanticoke Finance and Investment Committee. Rob is very lucky to have a wonderful family, including his wife, Karyn who has had a professional career in private clubs as well. they have two amazing children Juliet (11) and Hamilton (9). When he is away from the Club, Rob enjoys time with his family, fishing, brewing beer, working outside and relaxing on the beach with his family.
